COLLEEN JANICE GERDIS (nee WALTER) Peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer, Colleen Gerdis, aged 55, passed away on December 7, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Colleen will be lovingly remembered by her husband Grant; her children, Christine, Lance and Darlene; stepdaughters, Sandy, Audra and Jamie; 16 grandchildren; her father Clifford; sisters, Pat, Judy and Susan; and her aunt Elsie. She was predeceased by her mother Ena. The family would like to thank the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Colleen and her family during her illness. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 11 at 12:30 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A reception will follow.
